Bella Contadina Cerignola Green Olives are properly substantial olives, with a firm, fleshy bite and a mild, gently savoury flavour.
Named after the town of Cerignola in Puglia, they are among the largest table olive varieties in the world. The oval, golden-green fruit is grown in the surrounding region and carefully harvested to avoid bruising.
The 550g jar is a good size for keeping on hand for drinks, a small antipasto plate or eating directly from the jar while dinner is being made. Serve with salami, cheese, fresh bread, wine or a well-made martini.
