Casegoods Chulha Oil Diffuser is inspired by the quiet ingenuity found in everyday rituals. Drawing from traditional lime production techniques observed during travel, this piece transforms simple materials into something purposeful, poetic, and deeply grounding.
Handmade from slaked lime, recycled and crushed terracotta, and spun copper, each diffuser is cured and finished by hand using locally sourced beeswax. A small tealight sits within the copper base, casting a soft, flickering glow while gently heating the water and essential oil in the basin above. As the oil warms, it slowly releases fragrance, filling the room with calm and warmth.
Designed by Kenneth Rodrigues, Tanay Kandpal, Jumana Motiwala, Gaurav Edwanker, Noel Tauro, Saleem Bhatri and Samuel Barclay, this diffuser is a considered response to form, material and feeling — designed for spaces that value both beauty and function.
