Filt net bags historically were used by generations of mothers and grandmothers as a traditional market bag. They were hugely popular in the 60's and 70's and have made a resurgence of late for their practicality as much as their aesthetic. These authentic net bags have been produced in Normandy since 1860. Dyed in the North of France. Knitted and sewn in Caen.
Their quality and care with which they are made remains unchanged after all these years. A light reusable bag that stretches to fill a wide array of goods, from groceries to magazines to beach gear and can support an extreme amount of weight.
Each bag is practical and sustainable, it stows away easily for travel. 100% cotton and machine washable.
Made in Normandy, France.
