Innesti is a compact and compelling monograph on Andrea Anastasio, one of the most original voices in contemporary Italian design. Emerging in the late 1980s, Anastasio’s early work was shaped by the influence of great masters such as Ettore Sottsass, and his collaborations with Memphis, Design Gallery, Artemide and Danese placed him at the heart of a transformative era in Italian design.
What followed was a body of work that became increasingly personal and experimental. From the late 1990s onwards, his creative process began to draw deeply from Eastern philosophy, surrealist practice and the shifting forms of contemporary art. The result is design that feels at once sculptural, thoughtful and alive with contradiction.
Published by Edizioni Corraini, this 48-page paperback captures the energy and evolution of a designer who continues to work across disciplines and cultural perspectives.
