History: For over 200 years, Omori Warosoku Workshop has been protecting the tradition of candlemaking using techniques passed down from Japan's Edo period (1603 - 1867). Based in the small mountain town of Uchiko, Japan, the 7th generation craftsmaster Ryotaro Omori continues to train candlemakers, who generally have to study for at least 10 years under his tutelage before being considered a fully qualified candle craftsman.
