Puebco College Tote Bag. This clever tote began with a chance discovery in an Indian market, where Puebco found a collection of striped fabric belts originally made for school uniforms.
The colours had a nostalgic eighties charm and a sturdiness that is difficult to find now. From this collection, seventy distinct colours were chosen and reworked into strong linen totes with handles that hold their shape beautifully. The fabric gains a rough, weathered texture when washed and dried in the sun, which only adds to its pleasingly robust feel.
