The Sowden Lamp PL1 is a portable rechargeable LED table lamp that adapts to every corner of home and hospitality life. Connect the USB cable and it acts as fixed lighting for bedsides, shelves or desks, running perfectly even without the battery installed. Unplug the cable and a single 18650 Li-ion battery, 2600 mAh, takes over, supplying safe, cordless light indoors or out. A gentle touch on the top cycles through three brightness levels, peaking at 250 lumens from the Sowden LightDisc 01 LED. The battery charges fully in roughly three hours and can be swapped for a spare, so restaurants and events never lose light.
Offered in four colour variations, the PL1 shows George Sowden’s talent for pairing calm neutrals with playful accents. Choose from soft mint with sand, charcoal with blush, sky blue with butter or pure white for understated minimalism. Each combination feels lively yet balanced, bringing personality without clutter.
The painted aluminium body partners with an ABS base for strength without weight. A silicone shade diffuses a warm glow and lifts off easily for cleaning. Measuring 130 mm wide and 240 mm high, the lamp is compact enough for a bedside yet bright enough to anchor an evening on the terrace.
