The Things We Keep 01/62 A3
JACI FOTI-LOWE

$460.00

Part of The Things We Keep, a photographic exhibition presented at The Front Room Gallery for Melbourne Design Week 2026.

Each artwork began with a personal object belonging to a creative, collector, designer, artist, or maker from across Australia. These objects were then handed to photographers, not simply to be documented, but interpreted - transforming private possessions into shared artworks shaped by memory, atmosphere, and emotional response.

Presented as a limited edition of 20, each A3 artwork is printed in Melbourne on fine art cotton rag paper as part of an exclusive companion release available through The Hub General Store. Artwork printing leadtime up to 1 week.

1/62. I found this knife in a small knife store in Tokyo eleven years ago. It was made by Stan Fujisaka, a Japanese American maker based in Hawaii, whose work I had long admired. I have collected knives for over 35 years, and this one ticks every box for me. The handle is made from curly koa wood from Hawaii, considered the holy grail of knife handle materials. More than anything, it is the quality of the workmanship that makes this piece so special to me.
