Part of The Things We Keep, a photographic exhibition presented at The Front Room Gallery for Melbourne Design Week 2026.
Each artwork began with a personal object belonging to a creative, collector, designer, artist, or maker from across Australia. These objects were then handed to photographers, not simply to be documented, but interpreted - transforming private possessions into shared artworks shaped by memory, atmosphere, and emotional response.
Presented as a limited edition of 20, each A3 artwork is printed in Melbourne on fine art cotton rag paper as part of an exclusive companion release available through The Hub General Store. Artwork printing leadtime up to 1 week.

42/62. I’ve always claimed I’ve never made a thing but rely on the skills of talented others. This small carving of a bird ruins a good story. Kevin Perkins, Tassie’s fine contemporary furniture maker, carver of birds and friend of Richard Flanagan’s guided my hand with this simple bird at our property, Waterview in Tasmania.
