Not specified

$460.00

Part of The Things We Keep, a photographic exhibition presented at The Front Room Gallery for Melbourne Design Week 2026.

Each artwork began with a personal object belonging to a creative, collector, designer, artist, or maker from across Australia. These objects were then handed to photographers, not simply to be documented, but interpreted - transforming private possessions into shared artworks shaped by memory, atmosphere, and emotional response.

Presented as a limited edition of 20, each A3 artwork is printed in Melbourne on fine art cotton rag paper as part of an exclusive companion release available through The Hub General Store. Artwork printing leadtime up to 1 week.

43/62. I purchased this lamp in Melbourne many years ago but with no knowledge of who or where it was made. A decade later, while walking through Venice I passed a small antique shop that displayed only a dozen items. In the window was a smaller version of this lamp, with the same colour glass and the registration of the maker Seguso. I wrote a letter to Seguso in Murano and both Susan and I were invited on a subsequent trip to Venice to spend a day in their historic workshop. We spent the entire time learning about the astonishing heritage of this glassmaking family and witnessing the new traditions of contemporary glass blowing.
