Not specified

$460.00

Part of The Things We Keep, a photographic exhibition presented at The Front Room Gallery for Melbourne Design Week 2026.

Each artwork began with a personal object belonging to a creative, collector, designer, artist, or maker from across Australia. These objects were then handed to photographers, not simply to be documented, but interpreted - transforming private possessions into shared artworks shaped by memory, atmosphere, and emotional response.

Presented as a limited edition of 20, each A3 artwork is printed in Melbourne on fine art cotton rag paper as part of an exclusive companion release available through The Hub General Store. Artwork printing leadtime up to 1 week.

45/62. Two years ago, Susan and I were on holiday in Morocco which spanned several cities, deserts and time spent in the Atlas Mountains. In a wonderful ancient marketplace in Marrakech, I met an eccentric antique dealer and purchased this ceramic cooking vessel. I asked him one question, ‘how old is it?’ His response was of 20 minutes duration where he talked about everything but its age – his family history, regional cooking, geography and religion all combined. I can only conclude from this that it’s certainly over 400 years old and likely to have been made by his brother.
