The Things We Keep 07/62 A3
Not specified

$460.00

Part of The Things We Keep, a photographic exhibition presented at The Front Room Gallery for Melbourne Design Week 2026.

Each artwork began with a personal object belonging to a creative, collector, designer, artist, or maker from across Australia. These objects were then handed to photographers, not simply to be documented, but interpreted - transforming private possessions into shared artworks shaped by memory, atmosphere, and emotional response.

Presented as a limited edition of 20, each A3 artwork is printed in Melbourne on fine art cotton rag paper as part of an exclusive companion release available through The Hub General Store. Artwork printing leadtime up to 1 week.

7/62. Swans have long been another motif I’ve often returned to in my work - referencing nostalgia, but also the black swan Indigenous to Australia, the reverse to European swans, dark and beautiful. I think this swan is made from melamine, I love the milkyness of the material and it’s perfect flat form, the painted detail. I like thinking about its original form - was it part of a sign? A brooch? A child’s toy?
