Tsubota Pearl Sigaretta Lighter is a slim, refillable petrol lighter designed for everyday use.
Made from brass and steel with a cotton wick and wadding, its narrow stick-like body sits neatly in a pocket, bag or drawer. Push the top cap upwards and turn the flint wheel to ignite the wick. The flame does not self-extinguish, so close the cap firmly after each use.
The inner lighter lifts gently from its casing for refilling with standard lighter fluid. Turn it upside down, keep it level and slowly saturate the wadding to no more than 80 per cent. Do not overfill.
Tsubota Pearl has manufactured lighters in Japan since 1952. Each component is produced by specialist workshops in and around Tokyo’s Asakusa district, with particular attention paid to originality and quality.
